Located minutes from the medical center, shopping and the beach. This nice ranch style home on 4.59 acres is ready for you to get away from the city. The property is well fenced with a gated entryway.

Outer buildings include a separate 21 X 21 ft. brick game room, a separate two car garage/shop with complete 402 sq ft. efficiency apartment in the back for your family members who want their own space.

To help offset grocery prices you can grow your own food. There is a lovely raised bed garden covering 1/4 acre and small greenhouse all of which have automatic irrigation. The front of the property includes a small 1/4 acre +/- pasture with loafing shed for your your smaller livestock such as sheep and goats. The larger 3 acre +/- pasture includes a three stall barn with concrete floors, a round pen and small pond. Great for horses or cattle. A chicken coop with brood boxes, nest boxes roosts and large attached "chicken yard" comfortably hold 30 + chickens. Small flight pen in the chicken yard can hold smaller fowl such as doves and quail.

All pastures and the chicken yard have automatic waterers. No need to constantly fill water troughs! The property has many fruit/nut trees such as pecan, pear, persimmon, and citrus trees. There is a grape arbor and decorative pond just outside of the back door. You can grow vegetables, collect eggs, raise meat animals and pick fruit and nuts and stay away from the grocery store longer.

A separate large work shed with a concrete pad provides room for your tractor. In addition there is a metal roof carport next to the game room to protect your vehicles. This property did not flood during Harvey and has not flooded in the 25+ years we have lived here. The house wiring has been updated and a new ac/heating system was installed in 2018. New roof installed after Beryl (2024). There is also a 16 camera security system for peace of mind.

The master bedroom, hallway, kitchen, main bathroom, living room and front room/office were updated in 2020 and feature ceramic "wood plank" tile for ease of cleaning.

The front porch even has automatic water lines for your hanging baskets!

High speed internet is available over WISP or through cellular providers. Water is provided from a deep private well on the property. Well pump and pipe were replaced around 2019.

Even though the house has a great heat pump system it is still nice on cold winter nights to snuggle in front of a cozy wood fire in the large fireplace. Chimney was cleaned in 2021.

All of the old drafty windows of the main house have been replaced with double paned vinyl except for the two small bathroom windows which were replaced with single paned.

Brick game room includes water for the sink and icemaker.

Small shed in the "front pasture" for smaller livestock i.e. pigs, sheep, goats, emu with automatic water.

Three stall barn with concrete floors and automatic water trough. Water is piped to the barn and can easily be provided to each stall if needed.

Get your kids into FFA and raise their steer, lamb, rabbits or other fair animals at home.
