6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is going downhill because the administration is not supportive. The principal and her assistant are all about their EGO. They are not good listeners to parents' concerns. The principal "Chell Smith" is creating an atmosphere that makes the teachers stressed out, afraid, and not teaching at their full capacity. This school needs better leaders so kids and teachers can show better progress.Leaders in Wake County need to keep a close eye on the administration in this school; they are all covering each other against any negative concern, denying the incident, and acting very rudely.Parent Review2mo ago17 Reviews - Wake Forest High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI spent all 4 years at this high school, and my experience is kind of iffy. Yes, there were some good teachers, but other teachers at this school were horrible. The teacher's use some of the same methods of teaching that were used during the covid years, just showing videos and not explaining or going over what was learned. The environment is not welcoming and fights happen every week at the school, providing an unsafe environment for students there actually trying to learn. The school also only prepares you for college if you are staying in-state, if you're planning on going to an out of state school, nobody is going to help you. The school will also prioritize the students doing well in classes and not give an equal opportunity to students having problems learning, some teachers only teaching in a way that is made to help certain types of students learn (like type a learners). In addition to the horrible education at this school, the funding for programs goes mainly to athletics, leaving little to no money for other programs. Overall, I would not recommend a parent looking to send their child to this school unless they are looking to emotionally traumatize them.Other Review2y ago18 Reviews - Wake Forest Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWake Forest Middle School has been such a wonderful experience for my family. From day one, we felt welcomed and supported by the staff, teachers, and administration. The communication is strong, the expectations are clear, and you can tell that the school truly cares about the success and well-being of every student. My child has grown academically and socially since attending WFMS. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure students understand the material, offering extra help when needed and encouraging them to do their best. I also appreciate the way the school focuses on both academics and character; it really shows in the way students interact with each other and with staff. The school offers great extracurricular opportunities, and the environment feels safe, structured, and positive. As a parent, it means a lot to see my child excited to go to school and proud of the progress they’re making.I’m grateful for the dedication of the WFMS community, and I highly recommend Wake Forest Middle School to any family looking for a supportive and engaging learning environment.Parent Review5mo ago23 Reviews - Check out schools near 9232 Linsdale Way.

"Really nice area for family and enjoyable living. Plenty of fun things to do. You will need transportation. Some residents like to complain because the sky is blue - but other than that, great place to live outside of Raleigh. "

"The commute to Morrisville and back is brutal. Lots of traffic on US 1 and 540. Accidents every day. People drive like maniacs weaving in and out of traffic. It is the only drawback to living here."

"People walk their dogs and for the most part, they’re responsible for the pet’s waste. Unfortunately, people are less tolerable of middle school age children and high schoolers simply being kids. "

"A real sense of community. We all look out for each other; never is it as obvious as when the last bad storm came through. Everyone was out the next morning helping to clean up tree limbs and leaves from the entire cut-de-sac, not just their own yard, sharing tools, equipment and man power. "

"A bit of traffic around 4:00 to 6:00pm. My neighborhood is gated and has a very nice, exclusive Country Club. My neighborhood has it’s very own private security service and they constantly patrol the neighborhood."

"There are quite a few dog owners in my neighborhood. Most are responsible owners, but there are those that walk their dogs at night and allow them to relieve themselves in their neighbors yards. This is the part I dislike. I sit on my porch at night and you wouldn’t believe the things I see dog owners allow their dogs to do."
