New Trier high school is full of students who bully others relentlessly. The administration sweeps all sorts of problems under the rugs. They really only care about students who are athletes and parents who donate money. Many move here because of the schools. Our family can’t wait to leave because of how awful the administration and teachers have treated my children.

If it was good enough for Charlton Heston, it's good enough for you.

Horrible school. Avoid if you have academically gifted kids.

Not good. Very rude entrance monitors. Education is ok, all teachers don’t care.

This is a school and a district in chaos.The new principal is unsuited to the job. She is unable to lead, hides in her office all day and doesn’t return phone calls.The district superintendent is obsessed with test scores. She hired a data scientist that is high up in the administration. This should tell you everything you need to know: progressivism is out, timed testing for kindergartners is in. Astonishingly little choice time for kindergartners. Data, data, data, testing, testing, more testing, says the administration.Respected educators are told to get on board with the new “literacy” regime or get out. Beloved teachers are being forced out. Parents are upset, and some who would otherwise send children to HWS are going private to avoid it.
