This is our 2nd year with this school, first one in-person during the pandemic. Not only are we new to the school, but also to the district and the area as well. Starting fresh anywhere can be nerve-wracking, but we have felt nothing but welcome here since Day 1, and my child has been able to plug in nicely and thrive! We are incredibly grateful to the teachers, staff, PTA, and families who all help make this school what it is. There is an overall culture of care and respect here that is evident. Students will help hold the door for each other when coming out from the office during dismissal; and staff members will apologize when making the children wait too long at the gate to the bike racks. It is a wonderful thing to witness, and is just one of the many positive examples that makes us happy and proud to be an EGE Eagles family!

This school is terrible. They search you for no reason,unsafe, teachers dont care about your safety or you. this school isnt a school you should have your child at if you want them to be in safe hands. this school does nothing to protect their students. I give only 2 stars because some teachers actually work hard and want to see you succeed you may not find a lot at that school.

This school’s administrative leadership is terrible. They are bureaucrats more than advocates of the students they claim to care for. They are quick to punish, suspend or expel students without a second thought and EGUSD has disproportionately high suspension rates. They come off as uncaring and uncooperative. I’m not impressed with most of my son’s teachers. They can’t seem to manage their own classrooms, and one teacher in particular is petty, unprofessional and vindictive. It’s not a happy learning environment in his class and worry about snide comments being made to our son from this teacher. We’re considering moving our son to a better school.
