5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOHE is a great school with so much heart. The teachers LOVE their students, with many teachers having taught at OHE their entire careers (20+ years!!) Academically, OHE is a great school, particularly pre-pandemic. The last two years however, there has been less challenging work assigned. This seems to be the case all over the country. All that being said, the school does a great job with student's mental health and supporting their kids. The OHE PTA is very involved, welcoming and help supplement the school where state funding lacks. There are so many ways to get involved, big and small. The school has a great mix of after school clubs and PTA events.Parent Review2y ago - Bowie High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a student who transferred to Bowie. The school as a whole is ok but i wouldn’t recommend this school for anyone.First of all, most of the teachers are bad. They are negligent and don’t try to help us. They find ways to make everything more stressful. The faculty is also bad. The counselors and the principals don’t care about you. Nothing is confidential and they lie to you.The last problem is that they have one of the worst online learning management systems i’ve used. The website is finicky and all the computers are old. Their student portal system is horrible and half the time doesn’t work. I would encourage you to not attend this school.Student Review1y ago - Small Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing school with amazing teachers, support staff and leadership. The PTA is very active and encourages other parents to engage and participate in their childs education. CSMS is an out of the box middle school experience that encourages diversity and freedom of expression, if you are looking for a typical middle school with traditional values, this might not be the right fit. We loved every minute of our 3 years, including the covid years!Parent Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 9203 Claxton Dr.
