X065 not a good schools there drugs going around people be using profanity in front of kids and the miss Gonzalez is horrible she the worst every week someone always caught Covid because people be using no mask and coughing without covering there mouth teachers don’t care about they students im working get my son out that school it’s just horrible and they do t care about nothing

I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the quality of staff conduct and overall environment at MS343. While I appreciate the efforts of the principal, it appears that his leadership is being undermined by a lack of professionalism and accountability among certain members of the staff. In particular, I have observed troubling behavior from the 6th grade dean, and counselors who come across as unprofessional, disrespectful and dismissive toward students and parents. I have also observe the counseling and they have proven to be unhelpful. They lack empathy and competence that is expected in their roles. Perhaps they could use a refresher on how to manage students and be more useful with the title they carry. I respectfully urge your office and DOE to look into these matters and take the appropriate steps to ensure a more supportive, respectful, and productive school year for the fall 2025 and moving forward.Thank you.

My child called me at 930 Am saying she was denied access in the freezing cold because she was 10 minutes late. She has to travel by train and bus for nearly an hour just so they can send her back home. They wasted her travel fairs, her time, and left her feeling disrespected. This school has been good but ever since they denied access to students for being late my child has dreaded going to school. I even tried driving her to school everyday but that didn't work since traffic held us up for 40+ mins, she has been denied access many times. Her attendance has never been this bad her whole life, and her grades are starting to decline.
