I am very disappointed i am a mother of three one being a month old , my 6 yr old attends 1st grade here. I am a very active parent i attend all her school activities no matter what. I have missed two of her events because of non communication through the teacher and OR school I asked to be informed through phone because I do not use email often if at all and I have never been notified of anything on my phone. My daughter has come home for the second time upset with me that her family was not there to support her mind you she is in first grade so when she tells me things I think she may be confused for example. They had a 2nd & 5th grade christmas program that was on school calendar and corrected on school calender that it was moved from 11th to the 18th but NOWHERE did it inform us parents there was also a 1st grade christmas program held the next morning ! On the paperwork the teacher asked would you rather communication through phone or email I checked phone so please why is it that I can't get what I signed up for if it wasn't optional it should have never been a question on the sign up paper work ! It should have been noted on school calender as the other program was i hope for better communication because my 6 yr old and my heart hurt because the non communicate i missed yet another memory of hers i have nothing to show for.

I am a Ponca City High School Graduate and had many opportunities there. I had coaches and teachers who cared about my development. I also loved being in a town where everyone came together in the same high school! I have graduated college and was able to take accelerated and AP classes at Ponca City High School as well as concurrent enrollment my senior year!
