8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy student is an 11th grader at Manitou High School. He choiced into the district in the 9th grade. Overall, we have been fairly happy, because it is a smaller school, and you get all the pros and cons that come with that small-town feel. Class selection is very limited and has reduced significantly since we toured the school. The only language offered is Spanish ( they had German and French when we applied) . They do not have a large selection of electives, and even cut several English electives this year. They have an ok selection of Ap and honors classes and push those options. The positive side is that the students are mostly respectful, and the teachers are great! The school has almost all of the typical sports, and will help students find activities at other schools if they don't have what they are looking for. They do a great job offering opportunities to check out post-school programs to help guide the students into an opportunity they may love.
