Chickasha has a great deal of educators that care.. under the guidance of Mrs. Edwards. The only improvement would be is that the srudents read and listen to what is being applied to the lesson. and retain all information. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt could be better. If considering moving to this area. I would strongly consider a school just outside of the CHICKASHA public school system. Like Friend or Pioneer. Maybe even Ninnekah. I attended Chickasha all my life and have had children in the school systems as well. My 16 year old daughter transfered out Twice due to issues with he lack of discipline of other students and a poor attitude from many of the teachers. Once in middle school and now again in high school. My son is attending Grand Elementary and is doing OK but seems to fly under the radar even though he is struggling with his math. He can go a week with out turning in homework before I even receive a notification. Sometimes longer! This school is VERY racially segregated. The black and white children do NOT seem to care for each other at all and there is usually a lot of racial tension. (Some things never change) Long story short. It is clean and nice and up to date. There is nothing bad to say about this school. They truly care about your children and make it a fun place for the kids to learn.
