FEATURES:
Popular location on a mystical lake, studio walks out directly to the yard/and dock where you can lounge, fish, grill, swim. It's a very special place unlike any other on the lake.

LOCATION:
The pond is located on a lazy country road just 4 miles from downtown Damariscotta, and one mile from Muscongus Bay in Bremen, Maine. Just 5 minutes to the lobster dock where you can enjoy lobster and stunning views, on Muscongus Bay. Fly to Portland, ME, and then the drive is around one hour door to door. The cottage sits on the side of a gentle slope just steps from the crystal clean water of the mile long quiet lake called McCurdy Pond. There are no noisy boats on this lake; it is 15-20 degrees warmer than the ocean, and offers beautiful row boating, swimming and fishing. The small row boat (electric motor) is by the dock in about 4 ft. of water.

THE COTTAGE
The cottage is very charming in a woodsy environment, and majestic views. That plus the lovely water in the pond are the main attractions. There is an outside patio for guests staying in the studio and a grill.

The house is a two level with a deck and just a few steps from the water. The lower level rental is a charming comfortable studio queen apt. with private access. Lots of privacy and caretaker accessible nearby. The views are exquisite. The enchanting loons serenade in the evenings in season. Owners are occasionally staying in the upstairs, but you have total privacy.

This is a rental for the season.
The cottage is very comfortable, has electric heater if necessary. Very comfortable new queen bed. It is meant for 2 people MAX. There is a ramp down from the parking lot and 6 steps down to the yard and pond level. Spacious dock for lounging. Sway in the hammocks for your afternoon nap. Read a book!

No pets allowed. Absolutely no overcrowding permitted. This is for one person or a couple only.No smoking.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS
Lobster Dinners on the docks, sea kayaking, Farnsworth Museum in Rockland, RoundTop Arts Center with shows and concerts. Lots arts & crafts. downtown Damariscotta
