My son just completed Kindergarten at Gay Avenue Primary. I started the year with a very poor attitude about Gladewater school district, but the year turned out to be a wonderful experience for both my son and myself. The teachers are wonderful and caring and the administrative staff is amazing. You can definitely tell that the staff at Gay care deeply about the children. I just wish some of the parents in our community would show as much concern as the staff does. If the parents and community began to work with the schools, I think our little town could be beyond great.

Gladewater High School has dedicated teachers who care about their students. They work hard to get the students to understand the subject areas that they teach and to pass the state tests. The scores of these tests have risen the last few years and have placed Gladewater in "Recognized" status. The high school leadership is strong, as well. The staff cares about the students individually and want them all to be successful. There are many activities that the students can participate in such as band, art, choir, agriculture, theater, TSA, FCCLA, Book Club, drill team, and much more.

This school has been great for my son. Teachers are fantastic and staff. I feel he is getting a great education.

Wonderful school in a wonderful district. Teachers care about our children and go the extra mile to see then succeed.
