About this House

Location Location! This is not your typical North Chatt bungalow, remodled with care and style this is the home you've been looking for but just couldn't find. The neighbor friendly covered front porch offers a warm greeting to this home and there begins your journey to the house you've been waiting on. An open floor plan flows from dining area, great room and kitchen which makes entertaining and family time so easy. Both spa-like bathrooms have been beautifully redone, one with separate shower and Stickley cabinet with sink. The other has beautiful tile and marble with whirpool tub and shower. The kitchen is amazing and built for those who love to entertain. Features include a stainless wall mounted convection oven and microwave, large bar area with lots of seating, workspace and a gas range. A counter depth refrigerator, dishwasher and solid surface counters as well. There are furniture quality cabinets in the kitchen and adjoining great room providing lots of extra storage, book cases, glass front cabinets, and an entertainment area that can be closed away. Have desert by the gas fireplace or out on the new deck, another recent addition. A new 3 dimensional roof and gutters are less than a year old. If energy efficiency is important to you you will be impressed by the addition of a Carrier Hybrid HVAC. The basement is very interesting with lots of storage and plummed for a washer and dryer if you chosse. Today the area is being used as an artist studio, but could also be a great workshop. The back yard is fenced and nicely landscaped with a brick patio at the base of the steps leading from the deck. The house has hardwood floors, high ceilings, crown moulding, and tons of character. It is a 3 bedroom home but the owner transformed the smallest bedroom into an upstairs laundry area with additional closet and storage. It could easily be converted back to a bedroom. In addition you will find a large dining room and an office area. In the last few years the seller has added or remodled both bathrooms, put in hybrid HVAC system, replaced roof and gutters, added new deck on the back, and more.
