About this House
Please read this entire listing before contacting me. I value your time and ask that you value mine as well.
This apartment is available for someone who is serious, financially prepared, and ready to move in. My ideal move in date is July 15th, and the latest move in date I will consider is August 1st. If you are unable to meet this timeline, I respectfully ask that you wait until your timing is right before reaching out.
I completely understand that everyone wants to compare different apartments before making a decision. That is normal. However, I am looking for applicants who are actively searching and are in a position to make a decision within a reasonable amount of time. If you are simply browsing or are months away from moving, this apartment is probably not the right fit for you.
Now, about the apartment.
This is a clean, modest one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a large living room, pantry, and closet. It is not a luxury high rise with a concierge, rooftop amenities, or designer finishes. If that is what you are looking for, this may not be the apartment for you. What I am offering is a well maintained home in an excellent location at a price that is below the current market rate.
The average one bedroom apartment in Linden rents for approximately $2,000 per month or more. This apartment is being offered for $1,850 per month, making it an excellent value for the location and space.
The location is one of the apartment's biggest advantages.
You will be approximately five minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, ten to fifteen minutes from Staten Island, and about thirty minutes from Brooklyn, depending on traffic. You are also conveniently located near Aldi, Walmart, ShopRite, Best Buy, AMC Theatres, restaurants, shopping centers, and major highways, making everyday errands quick and convenient.
The apartment includes free parking for the first two years, and one cat or one small dog is welcome.
Tenants are responsible for utilities.
To protect both the landlord and the tenant, a comprehensive lease agreement is used that clearly outlines the responsibilities and expectations of everyone involved.
I do require proof of income, recent pay stubs, valid identification, and a background screening. While I do review credit history, I understand that life happens, and I am generally more flexible than many landlords. I place greater value on honesty, stable income, good communication, and the ability to pay rent consistently than on having a perfect credit score.
The asking price is $1,850 per month. There may be some limited flexibility on the rent, but please understand that the apartment is already priced below market value, so I am not in a position to make substantial reductions.
If everything you have read sounds like a good fit and you are prepared to move in by July 15th, or no later than August 1st, I would be happy to hear from you.
