Greatschools, stop taking down my reviews. I've been rewriting this review for years now. I am now documenting your censorship of the comments on this and other schools. By everyone's account in my family, Briarcliff was subjectively (and objectively in many ways) the worst educational experience we've ever encountered. The principal at the time (2017-2019) was the most duplicitous individual I've ever encountered and the teaching was very sub par.

Cary High is a great school, My one daughter graduated from here and doing science and engineering associates together,other daughter is in 11 grade , i have a superb experince with their studies they never struggles for their homework , all teschers are well trained , experienced and supportive. I am well satisfied with this school progress.

I SUFFERED in my two and a half years at this school. Gang violence, drugs, bullying controlled that place. None of it makes the news. My grades dropped, my mental health was at an all time low, I was degraded, abused, and taunted by students and the staff did next to nothing to help. I told counselors and begged them for solutions, all I got was an admin pass and mediations which only made it worse. I didn’t go to any classes and hid in the library, teachers didn’t care I was gone, just asked when my work would be gone. One counselor violated a privacy rule after I told her how bad the bullying was, the next day I walked into school and all my teachers were trying to ask me when the bullying started. I was physically abused by students and the higher ups just told me they’d talk to them. Teachers watched me get hit, pinched, pulled, yelled at, and said nothing. My parents were not informed about anything going on with me during my time at ECMS. Students from Cary High were allowed on campus and roamed during carpool hours waiting to taunt students. Halfway through eighth grade I signed some papers and stepped out of the school and never went back. During my time there my life was changed and I now have a passion and working towards a career in helping those who were victims to violence and drugs and went downhill. But I will NEVER allow a loved one to step foot near that campus. I fought to make sure my sibling wouldn’t attend. Special needs and 504’s were ignored if you didn’t have obvious disibility. This school diminished my faith in public schooling and I will never be able to experience school the same.
