"No public transportation. You have to travel in order to meet public transportation. unless you have an Uber. "

"There are plenty of GET bus stops here. There are a lot of walking distance stores. People are very friendly on my part of the neighborhood."

"It’s like any neighborhood. Where I’m at everyone takes pretty good care of the home and yards, but a couple streets over they don’t seem to care to much how there home and yard looks. I don’t notice as many dogs running loose as I see teenagers and young adults."

"The schools are some of the most underperforming in Bakersfield, the parks are overran by homeless, the drug abusers will steal anything they can get their hands on (including my front porch bench and my lawn sprinkler.) The streets are like an obstacle course between avoiding pot holes and pedestrians running out in front of you. The rent is cheap though, so that’s cool. "

"There’s better places to live. Some nights you hear guns going off. Property is messed with daily. This isn’t as nice of a community as it use to be back in the day it’s unfortunate to witness. "

"The tweekers. You’re never alone there is always one behind a tree or in a dumpster if you don’t check inside of your vehicle before you get into it you might surprise one. Usually nice people just want some money or a candy bar and if you have it just give it to them you will make a friend and always know the business in the neighborhood 😂"
