A note to past reviewers: A group of teenagers who are not open to having new peers join them is called a "clique," not a "click."

Like, it, it's not bad, but it's also kinda bad. Some of the teachers can be quite churlish, but other teachers like Mr. Duggan or Mr. Vincelette are absolutely awesome. Could be better with a longer recess, because this school has less than the state average, but whatever, since when has anyone cared about giving students a break in YMS?

We will not be continuing education at Village any longer. The principal, as stated before, is terrible. I spent hours on the phone with her before my child began the school year and with her reassurance, we enrolled. She LIED about multiple elements of the school day, engagements, you name it. Our teacher was amazing and that was the only highlight of my child attending Village Elementary. Steer clear.Check out Village Nest in Eliot, Maine or White Pine in York, Maine. Good luck!

Two children went through this school. It was by far the best experience of any school ever., Administration, Principal Murphy, Librarians, Teachers, Counselors, Part time Staff, Lunch and Nutrition, Janitorial are all excellent and invested in your child’s well being and education. There is a vibe at the school and its like a hug from the second you arrive until your kid graduates. Love this school. It goes beyond academic learning, it lays foundations for your kid to have the tools for personal integrity , ownership of actions and kindness. The volunteerism and community support — amazing. Its one of those schools where parents want to take part and all welcome!
