"This is a great place to raise a family. Good schools, friendly neighborhoods, overall very calm environment. Downtown is fun to walk around in as well as the surrounding historic homes by the river. Love living here."

"it's got that small town charm. downtown is beautiful and many places to shop and dine. people for the most part are cordial and quiet. great place to raise kids. be prepared to spend money here though."

"Dogs are mostly friendly, but no one picks up their dog poop. Kids will run up and bark at your dog so if you don’t have a friendly dog just be aware that the children have no manners"

"Plenty of parks and trails for walking dogs, Riverbend Community Park and Tekawatha Woods have paths, and Jon Duerr and 4-H pavilions just across Fox River walking bridge. Very beautiful and scenic."
