6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was very vocal and involved with my kids teachers. Not only was they learning ONLY from school but home as well. Like it should be. But when a incident came up with one of my kids and other student I felt like it was handled very wrong. So I started not to trust the teacher anymore. As with my other child once I started asking questions about certain things my child would get in trouble/time out for no one could really ever give me a REAL reason. So kinda started feeling a certain type way about them as well. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI currently attend Northwest halifax Highschool, and i can honestly say a turn around has happened. Less fights are present, and more students are starting to turn around and chagne theri act. This is NOT the best school in the world no,and yes our funding is poor. This doesn't make up a school, we have an inspiring principal who has a passion for the bettering of things. I can honestly say that Northwest is a life changeing school, everything had improved and since my two years of being here I can treuly say that depressing school has turned into a place I do not mind waking up on teh weekdays for. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Davie for 6th & 7th grade she loved the school. Mr. Fenner is an excellent principal and the teachers are wonderful, also love Ms. Boone at the front desk. The staff is very dedicated to their students. She excelled academically and was accepted to HCC Early College that is the only reason she will not be attending Davie for 8th grade she will definitely miss everyone!Parent Review13y ago
