The principal, Lana Gardner, and staff are doing an excellent job of teaching my children! I have zero complaints regarding the staff or academic program. The only thing I would change is that there would be more opportunities for parental involvement in their children's education, other than just helping with AR testing.

I'm not going to lie this school has put me through so much but I've learned so much from it but I think it need a new math teacher! (That can teach) this school has some really good teachers and students!

I attended Animas High School in 2011- 2012 and I am very upset with my experience! They did not teach grammar, mathematical formulas nor did they help me because I was considered "an adult." Humanities was extremely one sided and every teacher had their favorites, and if you weren't one of their favorites then you wouldn't get a very high mark on a test or assignment. The projects were unclear and disorganized. There is also a high teen pregnancy rate because I know 5 personally who got pregnant or fathered children, a lot who were arrested or on drugs, a lot of partying and alcohol use behind closed doors. The money is all that matters and hiding the real issues are the priorities. Also a lot of bullying occurred.
