8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Centerville Schools from kindergarten all the way through graduation and after a year of college, I can confidently say that I was beyond prepared for life after graduation. Centerville not only established my firm foundation of academics, but also life skills such as building relationships and a desire to give back to the community. I currently go to a top university, and I feel that my experiences at Centerville thoroughly prepares me for my new life. Not only does Centerville offer a wide expansion of classes, but the fact that every student has the opportunity to get involved with any desired extracurricular activity creates such a diverse and nurturing environment.Although I went through many difficult classes and complained quite a bit while I was a student at Centerville, I can wholeheartedly say that everything was worth it. The environment that is created at the school is truly designed for ultimate growth, both as. student and as a person.Other Review4y ago16 Reviews - Hadley E Watts Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNormandy Elementary has been an amazing experience for my son. He moved from a small private school and I was worried about the transition to a larger public school with more students in the classroom. Not only did the teachers and principal calm my fears, they gave my son the extra attention and reassurance he needed. He's going into his last year at Normandy now and we couldn't be happier with his time there. The principal is wonderful and really emphasizes kindness and caring for others. The no bullying policy is real and enforced. My son is accelerated in math and the school has worked with us to make sure he is not bored and gets the curriculum he needs. I couldn't recommend Normandy any more. We love it!Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - Centerville Primary Village South

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son has loved his experience so far at PVS. We've noticed a great deal of development with reading skills and harnessing his creativity (he always loved to draw, paint, and color, but he's more intentional about putting pieces together into a single work). He's made many friends and tells us how much he likes being there. His teacher has been very good about assessing his and other student's needs, and how to help parents continue this education and growth at home.Parent Review6y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 9 Eagle Dr.

"There are many families in this area, and a whole lot of great parks. There are always families out walking together and people taking their dogs for walks. "

"Centerville, Ohio, is a charming gem known for its rich history and welcoming community! One of its standout features is its collection of stunning historic stone houses—more than any other city in Ohio—giving it a unique architectural character. The town also boasts beautiful parks like Stubbs Park, where people can enjoy concerts and scenic trails. Plus, Centerville's vibrant sense of community shines through in its local events and friendly atmosphere. It's a lovely place to call home or visit!"

"Neighborhood has a lot of diversity in age groups. Quiet area that has ongoing improvements in quality of life. People are nice and welcoming to minorities which is a huge plus. Centerville police do patrol neighborhoods. Lots of family friendly activities in the outdoors which will feel like a private family moment."

"The commute is great because I’m close to the major highways. Makes commuting easy. The public transport system isn’t as developed as major cities. Definitely need a car"

"Can be difficult to commute depending on the time of day. Downtown CENTERVILLE during 8am or 5pm is very busy with kids getting out of school and people headed home from work. "

"Typical Ohio suburb. Virtually crime free. Very conventional population. Very few progressives. City is quick to fine you for putting your garbage can in the wrong place or parking a trailer in your driveway. High rated schools but no school choice like you get in a decent sized city. It's a safe place to live and a good place to invest but it's pretty boring. The parks and forests are gorgeous, but there's nothing else to do here besides go shopping."
