My niece went here and she told me that the teacher apologized to her through google translate that she didn't have enough stuff for her to do because the school didn't have any ESL books for her. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy wife and my daughter were unfairly harassed for the way they were dressed today at Roosevelt ISD. Their experience has informed my opinion that the policies enforced by this backwoods ISD (independent school district) are prejudiced and sexist. As such, my assumption is that Lubbock Roosevelt ISD has fostered an atmosphere that prioritizes appearances and conformity over learning. The dress code has been weaponized and used as a tool to discriminate and to ‘get even’ with anyone that crosses a certain few very hateful, naïve and uninformed, mean spirited individuals that, unfortunately, wield too much authority for a place of learning.Parent Review3y ago
