Littlefield Middle School more needs to be done to involve parents in the education process..there is only so much a teacher can do in class and the idea that there is no homework is ...there are no words!! How in God's name will these children ever develop good study habits and be prepared for college!! Sad Sad Sad. The school system is only concerned with testing...not teaching the curriculum. Maybe the state should have taken over bec ause our kids are getting the short end of the stick!

This school is absolutely horrible for children with special needs! They deliberately tried to disobey my sons IEP, the principal set up meetings about my son behind our back. He told his teacher that my son was to do 100% workload and not 50% as stated in his IEP and that his goal was to have my son in a self contained environment by the end of the school year! They constantly tried to make things harder for him, meanwhile he was scoring off the charts and reading on a 7th grade level in 2nd grade! We ultimately pulled him out of this school and are now homeschooling him! He is THRIVING, and I wish we had pulled him from this hell sooner! I have learned that out experience is the same as many other autism families as well! Save yourself and your child the trauma!!

Out of all the teachers I have had so far (I'm a junior this year), they have all been wonderful. They're always willing to help out and help a student understand the material, when students ask for extra help. Most teachers are also willing to stay after school in case someone needs to make up work or needs extra tutoring. However, I have heard of a few teachers who aren't so great (personality, teaching-methods, etc.). A few of the administrators are disliked by many, and some of the school policies are pointless, which they selectively enforce (i.e. dress code, mainly). The guidance counselors are extremely helpful and are always willing to work with students. They make sure you're on track for graduation, which is extremely reassuring. There's also a wide variety of clubs and sports to chose from, so it's very easy to get involved and find other students with similar interest. Large student body (about 2,000), so you'll get the chance to meet plenty of people. The food sucks, though. Overall, I am happy I attend LHS, and I would recommend it to someone looking into high schools in the area for their child.

My school houses some of the greatest minds of our time. Our teachers are our most reliable resource and our administration is top notch
