Dear Woolfolk Parents, The Woolfolk School has plenty of work for all to do. Time, resourses, skill, mentoring etc, etc. What a great way to make a difference in a childs life who really needs it. The parent participation out of an 100 is 10-15%--that's the weakest link. This number will improve with the dedicated parents that's already involved through resources like: "PTA", "Parents On The Move", "P-16 Community Engagement Councils", or simply just volunteering your time. I have children there--If we as parents unify togather as many but one voice to STOP--take assesment of our children, home enviironments--and the things that effect our kids behavior in class -- the school and teachers and #1 the parents will be more accountable, show respect and maintain better relations with parent, community and teacher relationships. So---calling all parents!!! calling all parents!!! your child, my child, someones child is below profiecient in reading, math, and science. We need help---our children are in failing and flunking out of school. So---calling all parents, calling all parents--lets get more "Invested" with our children so that they(children) will be more accountable in school.

If you have the opportunity to send your child to another school ,please do so. Most of the teachers don't care and they constantly say to the students they're only here for a paycheck. If you have issues the principles do not make themselves available or try to help resolve the matter. Many of the teachers and staff are related to students and treat those students differently from the rest. If your child has special needs or learning disabilities, the entire school district is not prepared or equipped to teach them.

I`ve had a lot of issues with this school and the district in general. If you have a child with any kind of special needs I'd recommend trying to find a different school if possible. Most of the teachers seem like they`re there just for a paycheck. The only this school has going for them is an actives PTA.
