This school is the worst school I've ever seen in my life it's very unsafe and I do not recommend anyone to send their kids there. The bullying and harassment is out of control and all they do is sweep it under the rug and ignore it, the school board does not help the situation they just make it worse.

My son graduated from here in 2023 and my daughter is now a freshman. The Principal is very nice but at the same time a no-nonsense person. The staff here are great. I was also a substitute teacher here in 2021-2022 and had no issues at all

This school caters to children with behavior problems that act out for attention and need coddling to succeed. That's where all the resources go, leaving the vast majority of students feeling invisible, unsupported, and confused as to why their poorly-behaved classmates are rewarded with candy and Minecraft at their desk for doing the same work as everyone else. The assistant principal in particular has made these students her pet project in an honestly creepy way. And as for the principal, unless there's a photo-op to be had, she shows little interest in interacting with students, showing face to parents, or being "in the trenches" with the teachers. I'm unsure as to how someone with such poor interpersonal skills could have risen through the ranks to this position, but the school is surely suffering because of it. Her leadership is ineffective, her talk is cheap, and her empathy is gravely lacking. It's a shame, because my kids have had some of the most intentional, progressive teachers at this school.
