I wouldn't recommend this school.There are a lot of bullies, and sometimes the teachers blame you for things you didn't even do. They also make fun of you.I haven’t really learned much here; I barely know anything because of these teachers. They also give you the worst options, which seem really dumb.

Based on our personal experience with Hall Middle School and LCMSD leadership, this school prioritizes optics and self-serving agendas over fair tactics towards its students. School district policies and procedures published on the school district website are not followed. Due process doesn't exist when it benefits the school administration. District bylaws state that the Board “has major commitments to parents/guardians, all members of the community”. In reality, it’s the opposite. Parents are excluded from decision-making about their children, and their voices and rights are ignored. The current superintendent's decisions appear to be politically motivated and have little to do with what is fair or right for an individual student. Using his connections, he rushes to the press before verifying the true facts of his story to reflect his political ideology, which is never the school’s job. The school’s role is to follow fair procedures to avoid making cruel mistakes and to protect the well-being of the young children being shaped in the care of the trusted education leaders. The current principal's approach is to look the other way. There is a surprising lack of transparency and communication between district leadership and parents. Special education students’ IEPs are terminated regardless of whether or not the child still needs it. The overall environment is of carelessness, callousness, and unethical use of authority. It was unsafe to send our middle school child to this school. When we had this experience, Toni Brown was the principal of Hall Middle School, and the superintendent of LCMSD was Brett Geithman.

Neil Cummins, under the leadership of the new principal and his team, is losing many of the strengths established by the previous administration. A lack of leadership and strategic direction has led to a complete disengagement of parents from school life. Several highly regarded teachers have left or been forced into retirement, while some of the recent hires have displayed unprofessional and, at times, discriminatory behavior. School still have some very good and caring educators, but they stay away from the principal and try to ignore what is happening in the school overall. As a result, families who can afford to do so frequently transfer their children either to private schools or to other districts/Cove school. Families connected with the corrupt Spark organization have created a closed, influential circle that controls many aspects of school life—and they thrive.
