Elementary school students are physically restrained and parents are not notified. Teachers isolate students in classrooms. Minority students are placed in special education when they do not have a learning disability to keep a restrictive program functioning. 3 Minority students from George Washington Elementary School was placed in a restrivtive class.

School is fantastic, the leadership is outstanding and the teachers are great. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a solid education

As a parent, my experience with Post Road Elementary School has been mixed. On the positive side, the teachers have been outstanding. My children have had caring, dedicated, and hardworking educators who genuinely invest in their students' academic and personal growth. The teachers are the school's greatest asset, and they deserve recognition for the support and commitment they show every day.That said, I have concerns about the Dual Language Program admission process. While the program itself is valuable, the selection process lacks transparency and does not appear to reflect the diversity of the broader school community. As a parent, it is difficult to understand how students are selected, and the resulting enrollment raises questions about equity and access. A program designed to celebrate language and culture should also strive to be inclusive and representative of the diverse population it serves.I have also found the school's leadership to be less welcoming than I expected. A principal sets the tone for the school community, and I have not always felt a strong sense of openness, approachability, or engagement from the administration. Building stronger relationships with families and fostering a more welcoming environment would go a long way toward improving the overall school experience.Overall, Post Road Elementary has many strengths, particularly its exceptional teachers. However, greater transparency in the Dual Language Program admissions process and a more welcoming administrative culture would help ensure that all families feel valued and included.

Facility is relatively old, but clean and well maintained. Very responsible teachers. The principal tries very hard to resolve conflicts among students and enforce safety disciplines. The curriculum is somewhat slow and class size is big. As a result, not enough attention is given to fast students to keep them engaged and motivated. Lunch is so-so quality.

Everything in on the first year was really hard for me and my child overall I'm happy to say that me and my child are extremely happy on how Everything worked out and the services that is being provided. My child loves going to school she loves her teacher and staff and looks forward to waking up and leaving on her bus. Thank you all so very much and a special thanks to her teacher for all that she did to make sure that my child has the proper education that fit her needs.
