Our family LOVES Western Pines! Two of our boys just graduated and we are looking forward to our youngest one going there in August. We had the best experience there this last 3 years. Mr Preddy is an amazing principal, their team of assistant principals and counselors is outstanding, and their teachers and staff are all super committed. They all work hard to create a safe and wonderful environment for the kids to thrive both academically and emotionally. I can't say enough good things about this school!

Communication with school staff is the worst. I called numerous times to speak with the 9th grade assistant principal, left a message and never got a return call back. If you dial the extension number to a specific staff member, they won't pick up, as if they're screening calls or answering only when they feel like it. Emails won't get responded to as well. People in foreign countries are able to reach me about my car's extended warranty but this school can't even return a call.

This school is amazing. My daughter is new this year and has had such an amazing year. I really appreciate all of the school communication. The principal sends out weekly newsletters as do my daughters teachers. There are so many events after school to bring the families together it's truly a community school. We are so happy we purchased our home in this community and are looking forward to the school carnival this month!
