They learn each student's particular strengths and weaknesses and have used tools, like Class Dojo, to maintain communication with parents. There are several family events each year to make school fun for the whole family, like Trunk or Treat, Family Movie Night, a family dance, BINGO, etc.

"This is a very active 55+ community. It is in the rural area of Bakersfield close to the Lake Ming, the Kern River, Hart Memorial Park and Kern River Campground. It is a mile from the Mesa Marin Softball fields and a huge soccer park. It is a few miles to a store or restaurant but there are plans to build more stores out this way. It is gated and across from a golf club with another public one close by. New elementary and middle school nearby. 2 miles from the Zoo (CALM)"
