"There is a green cottage, that we love to buy gifts and flowers there, we have a lovely museum and trails! The Christmas lighting is lovely and we do have some potlucks in the community."
  • Mburke2910
"Historic, beautiful and very friendly. Beautiful scenery and outdoor activities. Very good food and community "
  • Seanroby85
"Not many sidewalks for people to walk their dogs, so cars constantly passing will be an issue. Also there are many wild animals/predators in the area to be concerned with."
  • Doyonm
"A few breweries with outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. No shoulder on a lot of roads, which makes walking difficult but the rail trail is a safe beautiful option "
  • Seanroby85
"Lots of space to run around in. Plenty of critters to bark at. Unfortunately there is a lot of ticks to worry about. Most of the people here are dog friendly and some stores allow dogs to come inside whether or not they are service animals."
  • Seanroby85
"Half our neighbors are gone during the winter since they live in the city. Very nice rural area with lots of wildlife. "
  • Marc M.
"Full time living or as a retreat from the stress of the big city, the High Falls area is a perfect place to live. Family friendly and open to people of all sorts, the community is welcoming and filled with interesting people from all over. There 4-season entertainment and recreation near by with restaurants from diners to high end fine cooking. The Shawangunks, the Catskills, the Mohonk Preserve, great schools from preschool to higher ed, the area has it all."
