2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with Bullhead City Middle school and my child's experience since the beginning of this school year. Upon signing my child up the office staff was genuinely nice. How my child's 1st day went when he came home: told me about the incredible amount of children using racist slurs calling each other the N word rather frequently and many other racist terms I won't mention. There are drawings of body parts and pornography on the walls of the school as well. My child told me about this on their lunch break seeing all this drawn on the walls. So obviously the teachers can clearly see all this as well but clearly nothing is done. But the most concerning part is all the racist slang terms used throughout the day with zero consequences. Every day he's telling me about all the racist slurs being used. Obviously this is a parental issue and school issue. I've tried to email the teacher's through their portal just about general questions of how my child is performing in class. Zero contact nor have there been any email replies. So I guess it's just to much to ask for a quick response from a teacher on how your child is doing in class. They are there just to collect a paycheck. After hearing about how incredibly racist a majority of the students are I can not recommend this school one bit. If that's how you want to raise your child that's on YOU and if the school looks the other way that's on them as well. But they probably don't care since they get paid either way anyway. If your raising your child with any sort of morals then stay away from this school.Parent Review8mo ago3 Reviews - Coyote Canyon School

The office is very helpful and informative and his teacher ms Galavis is so good with the kids and my son adores her. My son is very happy here and my little one will start kindergarten in July.Parent Review11y ago5 Reviews - Mohave High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMohave Highschool is one of the most unfair schools!!! Students are never treated right and favoritism is so obvious in this school. Especially how the treat certain people with race , it’s so unacceptable. The administration never listens to people’s concerns, and many students feel ignored, and disrespected. A school is supposed to make you feel valued , not feel terrible for a whole four years!Parent Review2mo ago11 Reviews - CRUHSD Academy

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has improved over the years. Teachers and staff provide more than just academic support for students. The academy feels like more of a home for students who were left in the sidelines in regular high schools.Parent Review4y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 871 Baseline Rd.

"Not enough dog parks. In the summer the roads a pavement gets extremely hot and can burn their feet. Most houses here don’t have yards"

"I've lived here a lot of years and it's getting to be a busier city. The traffic is getting much worse on highway 95 along with the accidents. We do have lots of parks to choose from. We only have basic healthcare here. If you need any kind of specialized care, you will need to go outside of Bullhead City for that. We are a tourist town, and all of our activity/enterpirse is geared towards attracting that demographic. "

"Except for the four months summer heat the weather is wonderful the remaining 8 months. Entertainment is available across the River in Laughlin NV. A 4 month quail season and 12 month cottontail season along with predators keeps the hunter busy while the Colorado River and lake Mohave makes a day of fishing easy to plan."

"it's way too hot in the summer, there's no street lighting, the asphalt it way too hot, it's got a lot of other dogs and there's a lot of barking after hours, but I love it here being so close to the river, lets see what winter is like, I'll let you know in a few months "

"I have lived here for the last 30 years. depending on your child's age I feel strongly after dark most children should be home. the ones who can still be safe out after dark should only be of later teen years. Parents need to be more involved in what their children are doing and I don't think any children should be able to be out after dark. "

"the river. rotary park has a decent size skate park for beginners to provramps. this park has it all with three full size tennis court yards. 4-6 soccer, baseball, football and basket ball courts. then to top it off they have three play grounds for the younger kids. and all of this sites along side of the Colorado River. it doesn't get any better than this"
