6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a sixth grader during the 2022-2023 school year here at Woodlands Middle School, and I just moved to Florida during this time. This school absolutely traumatized me, and pushed a heavy amount of stress on me. Teachers did not like their jobs, students were bad behaving or were mean, and overall it was very unenjoyable. I barely learned anything, and if you think you would have peace at lunch, you would be wrong. Staff constantly would yell in their microphones and give us these "life lessons" if we were loud... (Mind you there were 100+ students in there). Also, they throw kids in these advanced courses without even testing them, putting stress on them. I would try to convince my mom to let me stay home. If you're reading this, please spend a little extra time into getting your child into a new school nearby, or else it will ruin your child's view on middle school like what it did to me. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe new leadership at this school is below par. For the amount of taxes we pay for this public school one would expect a lot more. Teachers are below par, leadership below par and the test scores lowering is an example of this. Would not recommend this public school to anyone assigned to this school zone and would say to find somewhere else. This is basic public education at its best. Not at standards for this area. Leadership needs to be changed along with the culture being pushed.
