8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe absolutely love Ames! You can tell the teachers and staff really care about their job. I feel like they go above and beyond to address issues with students before they become potentially bigger issues in the future. Our kids are always excited to go to school. It seems like a lot of the parents are very involved with the school, which is nice to see. I’m sorry to read that another parent had a bad experience with bullying. Everything I’ve seen, the administration and teachers seem to take things very seriously and address them early on. We love the themed days, spirit wear days and the entire school reading the same book at the same time. It really creates a sense of community among the different grades. The teachers deserve so much credit. It’s not easy these days and they are truly wonderful at this school!Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Blythe Park Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe older review is really sad! I'm so sorry they had a negative experience at Blythe Park. My kids have been going here for the past few years, and we all really love this school. I don't believe the current principal was around in 2014, but the current one, Mrs. Gorman, is great. She's responsive to issues, from my experience. I've never heard adults gossiping about kids. Personally, I don't find the parents cliquish. Over the past six years or so, Riverside has really turned over its population, meaning there are a *lot* of new families with young children. I do think that has changed some of the dynamics the previous reviewer experienced. The teachers here are lovely, and were excellent through the pandemic. This is a small gem of a school, and I feel very lucky that my kids are able to go here.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Central Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Riverside from another highly rated Chicago suburb and have been incredibly impressed by the energy and engagement of the teaching staff at Central. My daughter is excited to go to school every day, and that has been true with all three of the teachers she has had at Central. We recruited dear friends to move to Riverside as well, and they have noted a marked improvement in the teaching quality, professionalism and resources available at Central compared to their last elementary school, also a 9 rated school.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews - Hollywood Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere isn’t really much of anything that I strongly disagree with, except for the fact that bullying is very common among many people, as such I alone know what the effects of such are on me, which got really bad. Everyone keeps dissing on the teachers who are doing their best and I personally find it funny as the same people are flunking the classes they are complaining about, but the staff and teachers care about everyone’s well being and how they’re teaching us and how we interact with each other. Nothing is personally wrong with my perspective but the bullying issues need to stop and during the upcoming school year I will try to stop this problem and give everyone a better look on the school for mine and met friends own 8th grade yearsStudent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Riverside Brookfield Twp High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePaws Up! RB is an awesome school. Our son entered as a freshman, we moved into Riverside to attend RB from a suburb that had some school challenges. Private HS was a lot of money and RB provides high quality education and student life in a public school setting. Our son is nearing graduation (time flies), thriving at the school, engaged in anthletics and enrolled in numerous AP classes. We look forward to our younger children attending RB as well. The staff, administration and leadership at the school do a great job of making High School a safe and supportive place and we are happy with our decision to move here. Riverside is an amazing town to live in.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 8617 Rockefeller Ave.

"The schools are great! Very family friendly with neighborhood events and festivals. I wish there were more parks but were so close to so many in neighboring towns it’s not an issue. "

"My neighborhood is great, it’s friendly, and nice. But it all depends where u live, and/or on which side of brookfield. Also most of the schools are horrible, and the children are very rude. I live on a ok street except we are the corner house and there is a truck company right next to us. So it gets loud at times. Our neighbor in the back plays loud music and shoots fireworks at night when we try to sleep, but the parks are well maintained, and nice."
