This school might be OK if you are a regular child with no learning disabilities but if you are a child with autism that has mid functioning capabilities and requires a little bit more help than the next one, it’s a terrible school. My nephew was done completely c” wrong and now now that we know what we know, I cannot wait for the lawsuits to fly. Please don’t subject your child to the and unfairness that my sweet Elijah had to go thru,

I think if you are a ‘typical’ student you will do well here but if you are marginalized in any way whatsoever you will fall through the cracks and struggle. I have two students here and the amount of harassment verbal, sexual, physical, and even involving a gun is ridiculous. My girls were not believed by administrators and the one time action was taken it was short lived. Any time they have defended themselves however the school has been quick to threaten them with expulsion. I have brought up grievances against teachers that weren’t taken seriously and were blamed on ‘female histrionics’. I have been discouraged from attempting to get a 504 plan for one of my children who dearly needs it and she has been threatened in private by the vice principal even though I have been asked to be present numerous times. My younger children will not be attending here because I have no faith in the school to keep them safe or educate them properly.

My son has ADHD and a learning disability. I have been to several meetings where the Teacher was so mad that she had to deal with him. She was so rude as they all are that I have delt with here. My son was written up for be defiant (he has never been that in public or at home) and for not paying attention in class he was given two days ISS for this issue. A documented medical issue that they have all the information from his doctor that he takes medications every day was given ISS. They do not work with the needy children or maybe it's just my child they don't want to work with. If I had a choice, I would not choose this school, I have not liked them from day one. Another incident that happened he was over on his lunch account which I did not know, and they let him get his tray and walk off and went to him and took his tray and told him he did not have money in his account and gave him a cold sandwich........ This here irritates me more than anything because I am a single working mother who works 40 plus house and has no help and the school that my taxes pay to feed everybody else's children cannot pay for my son to eat...... So, what did the school do with the food that was already on his plate threw it away or did they give it to another child. If it was given to another child that is unsanitary if they threw it away, you would rather throw food away than feed a child what kind of school is this.....
