5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school has been very disappointing. There are frequent fights and widespread bullying, and it often feels like these issues are not addressed effectively. Many teachers appear to have negative attitudes and, at times, seem unprepared to manage the classroom environment. Unfortunately, the administration does not seem to take sufficient action when bullying is reported. Writing statements or filing reports does not appear to lead to meaningful follow-up. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this school to families considering it for their children.Student Review1mo ago12 Reviews - Hannah J Ashton Middle School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Hannah Ashton myself in middle school, and it was really the only school that I ever really felt safe at during my time in the public school system. Before, I was bullied to no end and the other schools did little to nothing to stop it. But when I started middle school, I had the best support system at school. If a teacher noticed that i was being bullied he/she made an IMMEDIATE effort to put a stop to it and discipline the student then and there. The schools I had been to before had always made an excuse that they knew nothing about the nastiness of the other kids. Hannah Ashton had NO such excuse, and the teachers really paid close attention to those of us who had more problems than the others. Being autistic, my mind does not always see things the same as the other kids who are not autistic. This caused severe bullying throughout much of my childhood, and finally at the end of 4th grade I was on the verge of suicide. My father was also at his wits end as well and was considering taking me out of public schools entirely if things got any worse. He convinced me to go to Hannah Ashton for 1 month, and then we would decide if I would leave public schools altogether. I did have a few students decide they were going to test me, but every time they tried a teacher would step in and stop the nastiness before it could get out of hand. I think my teachers had to call my father 1 time, after I was physically attacked by a group of girls, who were all expelled, and they even called the police. I don't remember now if my father pressed charges against them, but I do remember that every single one of them was expelled on the spot. Other than that I had very few problems at Hannah Ashton. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to any parent, even for children with autism. The teachers took special care with me, due to my fragile mental state. They are willing to work with kids and parents to ensure the safety of all of their students. I could not have asked for a better middle school.Other Review10y ago8 Reviews - Slate Ridge Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll three of my children went to Slate Ridge Elementary with the last one finished up 4th grade last year. The teachers here are fantastic! My youngest had an IEP from preschool through 1st and they helped him so much he no longer has that IEP and is scoring well above state and school averages! They were great with my older two as well.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Reynoldsburg High School Health Science

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible. Teachers don't know what to do with this new block schedule. They overwhelm the students with a ridiculous amount of homework every day just because they won't see them for another 48 hours. The teachers even expressed their disapproval of the new schedule to Mr. Brown and the Principal of Encore Academy but were turned down. If a teacher doesn't enjoy their time at school then how are the students supposed to learn well? Just look at the statistics...Student Review6y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 8546 E Main St.

"Safe area. Kids can walk to school. Lots of kids around, lots of parks, and lots of activities for families. It's a good place to raise a family. The schools have varying learning path options for kids. They just built a YMCA and there are plenty of daycares and kid watching services around. There is a hospital right in Reynoldsburg and one in the town over as well as a few childrens ERs and clinics. There are also lots of dentist options, doctor options, eye doctor options, and other health options in the town and surrounding areas. "

"its clean and quiet and friendly... and the school districts are safe and nice for kids to go to... it's a low crime area... close to all our shopping needs... a very safe and nice place to raise kids... I believe neighborhoods should always be safe and clean and have low or no crime... in the area... if u can walk outside at night alone and feel and be safe then your in the right place... "
