Description

The property started as a Country Store, Hoss's Country Store, in 2003 and was ran by a local family of the Mena area. It was not only used as a central location for the Shady community but also as a game station and information center for the Ouachita National Forest. The store was unfortunately closed due to a lengthy illness and after a year was turned into a rental cabin. This property was remodeled as a cabin in 2010 and was rented for several years. A bed and breakfast vision was attempted by previous owners and would be a perfect location for any investor looking to broaden their portfolio. The area is full of vacationers looking to use their ATV equipment and the abundant hunting grounds. The Wolf Pen Gap ATV trail is located not even a mile away from the property.     "I have lived here most of my life. It's a wonderful place to raise a family. Small town friendliness and safety. There are a lot of outdoor recreational things to do. There are also lots of local shops and boutiques available for shopping, and there are a few "hobby" type clubs/groups to join. My husband has worked at a local plant for many years, they pay 2-3 times min wage. "
