I want to start out saying, we were nervous to buy in the area because if the rating of the schools. We are a military family and knew nothing of the area. I figured there wasn't that many reviews and we loved the house so we took a risk. I am so thankful that we did!Registering the kids was fast and easy. We got here in January and the children were 100% remote learning. We got their school device the next day. We were having issues getting one device to log in. I called the school and they immediately helped us! No waiting for a call back or anything. The teachers reached out to us and introduced themselves. Gave us their direct phone number so we could call/text if we had any questions or issues. This right there, is huge to me! Having a good parent/teacher relationship is essential to the children's development. Our 6th graders teacher has texted us multiple times to remind us of an upcoming deadline on assignment they noticed she hadn't completed yet. We have also been texted by the teachers to let us know our kids can retake assignments they scored poorly on. I had questions about my daughter's grades. All her teachers set up a virtual meeting over the computer. They were incredibly patience with me and took time to explain their grading system and everything. It's evident that they truly care about the kids here!Once, moving to North Carolina your children need a physical for school within 30 days. We were having issues with TRICARE providing us a primary caregiver. One place refused to call us back, by the time I got them on the phone they let us know they didn't see children. So back to Tricare to find another primary care giver. We got assigned the new clinic and they needed our kids records before they could be seen. Then the snow storm hit San Antonio and everything shut down, so we couldn't get the records. We reached out to the elementary school nurse, to let her know what was going on. She set the kids up with a remote health program at the school where they could get the physicals there. We were very appreciative and thankful for the help. Their nurse is amazing!Honestly, I fall more in love with the area and schools daily! This is one of the best assignments we have gotten. I feel truly lucky that we ended up in Warsaw.
