I am a parent with a disability and I ended up getting pushed out of the decision-making process with both of my kids IEP meetings and evaluations. I was not allowed to attend in person meetings unless security was present or they had to be WebEx. I had a disability response that was non threatening, but the administration decided to frame it as threatening even though I had documentation proving that nobody felt threatened. I ended up pulling my kids from the district and putting them into a new district simply because I couldn't handle the stress of what the district was putting my family through.Parent Review1mo ago
