  • Trulia User
"Certain parts are cool at night questionable but other than that it’s close to downtown and shopping "
  • Progressnotperfection90
" Easy access to the highway and the city. Inner city so everything is basically close regardless if your riding a bus or driving your own vehicle. "
  • Shawanda B.
"space to walk dogs. theybwould lile alot of guys hanging on the corners smoking gambling. selling drugs"
  • Thomasroderick43
"Place is really coming together nice over the years but still be aware of your surroundings. I like it here nice restaurants and majority of the people are nice."
  • Aki
"High crime! A lot of drug dealing and killing. Neighbors and or friends/relatives are loud disrespectful to our neighborhood. They trash the outside, smoke weed right under your windows, argue, fight, bring out guns. Not sure how many times I’ve had to call the police! Looking to move ASAP!"
  • LaSandra W.
"easy to get to places close around restaurants my job the casino. bus for the kids schools are close "
  • Baclark1
"The West End is not a single neighborhood. It really depends on what part of this are you live in. The area just west and north of City Hall is very nice, very safe, and very convenient. The "Dayton Street" neighborhood around Dayton, Baymiller, etc. is entirely unsafe, and the Lynn Street area is somewhere in between."
  • Baclark1
"I’ve lived below Liberty (first in the CBD then over-the-Rhine then CBD again) for about 9 years now, and it is an absolutely wonderful area as long as you don’t have young children at home. Growing up in the suburbs, I loved having the freedom to walk to stores and friends’ houses, etc. and after college, I moved to the still inexpensive at the time area, and I was able to experience the same convenience, but near more amenities for young adults. When my income increased and prices went up, I moved into a nicer apartment and enjoyed the constant improvement around me. Now that prices are leveling off, some of the businesses that attract violence have left, and a grocery store is finally moving in, it’s an even better place to live. "
  • Shirleymurry154
"pet friendly and friendly neighborhood were I can do my art and craft work plus I love to paint and write poetry so I will love nice neighbors, I have A 14 year old son who have ADHD and post depission that kid's can have him do anything for he is a follow not a leader "
  • Jeff G.
"Wonderful historic neighborhood close to several downtown and OTR amenities like restaurants, parks and entertainment."
  • Dollj9898
"Beautiful people. The buildings also look very nice. The West End is such a great place to walk around and enjoy the community. "
  • Meesh
"I live in this neighborhood. I can get to work in the central business district and enjoy all the great entertainment areas of downtown like the Gateway Quarter, the Banks, etc by walking or by a very cheap cab ride. Close to the revamped Washington Park, I walk my dogs to it often. "
