Neighborhood Description

Home is located on the newer SouthWest side of Elgin backing to single family homes in a quiet upscale neighborhood that is very close to shopping, schools and major roads. Being just east of Randall Road you have easy access to I-90, Rt 20 (Lake street), Rt 31 and other major roads so location is very key for this home!

Meijer Superstore, Menards and many restaurants are just west of us on Randall Road. Elgin Community College is down College Green Road east of the subdivision. Even better news, a new Super WalMart has recently (Nov 2011) opened a couple miles away at the corner of Randall and Bowes Road. Also, just south on Randall is Jewel, Kohl's, Best Buy, Home Depot, Super Target and a few miles more to Geneva Commons. Just North on Randall is the new Sherman hospital, many businesses and Spring Hill mall. Easy access to downtown Elgin, the Fox River and St Charles as well.

Another thought, from an investment point of view:
Only a few years back, end unit homes like mine were going for a bit above $200K - and that was before most of the retail building (Golden Corral, Nick's Pizza and now the WalMart project) that has been done! With Super Walmart now open (Bowes Road and Randall) along with all the other business they bring to their property...values and demand will grow in this area fast! A lot of info out there suggest some improvements in the job and economic markets, add in the fact that interest rates are at historic lows - you can see that in a few short years a property like mine in this attractive location has LOTS of upside ;) Why rent when you can OWN for less!!!
