I have been leaving in the community where this school is located. I have heard AND seen wonderful things! I am totally excited about the work the Ag teacher is doing! I see that they have a garden outside for the students to learn how to cultivate and grow their own foods! You don't see these types of programs at other middle schools. I commend the county and the school administration for having the vision to include this as part of the curriculum.

We really like this school, they address discrimination and bullying appropriately and thus there is not much of it. They take academics seriously. Dont based your decision on the scores above as you see they rank 8 in every category with exception of student improvement, at the same time, all students are off the charts college readiness and testing. In context that just means that the students enroll at a remarkable level and regress, but their regression is way above the norm. This is common with great high schools that have even greater middle school feeders.

The experience at this school initially seemed positive. However, over time, I began to notice that my child became increasingly fearful of attending school each day. It appeared that my child was being mistreated by a teacher, and unfortunately, no meaningful steps were taken to investigate or address the situation.Because my child is nonverbal, I was unable to directly ask questions to fully understand what was happening. However, their consistent fear and distress when encountering this particular teacher were very concerning and should not have been overlooked. Regrettably, the situation did not seem to be taken seriously and was at times dismissed rather than addressed with the care it deserved.When I brought these concerns to the teacher’s attention, I did not feel heard or supported. While this school may be a good fit for some children, in my experience, concerns were not handled with the level of attention and resolution that is necessary, especially in situations involving vulnerable students. I would encourage other families, particularly those with children who require additional support, to carefully consider all available options when selecting a school.
