She is an incredible woman who goes out of her way to really know each of her students. She is extremely thorough and doesn’t judge or jump to conclusions. She takes the time to not only investigate concerns, but gets down to the root of what caused it and works alongside the students, staff and families to remedy any issues. This school is known for its staff that stays! Some of these amazing people grew up here and then came back to teach here and have been teaching and serving here for decades. Principal Brecheen is amazing and has truly turned this school around since the former Principal Vanderpool has moved on out of the district. She is the complete opposite of what he was. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur older daughter transferred to Gravette mid year last year as a junior. Transition was extremely easy. Classes were comparable to what she had previously. Teachers are excellent and showed an interest in her immediately. She changed schools because we moved within Gravette district, had we known what a great experience she would have had, we would have tried to move much earlier in her school career. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGMS is a fantastic school. Mr. Thomas has a genuine love for the students. We are new the the district, while enrolling he and Mrs. Amos were very helpful and friendly, we have felt comfortable tfrom that point on. Our daughter has adjusted very well and her teachers are great. Teachers are very east to communicate with. My husband and I are natives of NWA and remember hearing great things about Gravette schools, now that we are a part of the district we totally understand why and know the reputation is accurate.Parent Review11y ago
