My son enjoys the small class sizes. He is able to participate in music and PE along with his major classes such as reading and math. As a parent, I enjoy volunteering in the class. The kids are well-mannered. The campus is clean and safe. The adults care about the children.

I am a senior at Bowie Highschool and I am hoping that you will be able to help us. We are a very small school! We only have 15 students in our entire high school and are really struggling to keep this school going. Right now we are currently having budget issues and so to keep this school going they cut back on all our extra curricular activities such as ag welding, culinary, and other classes that use to be a great influence. Without those classes we have no more clubs such as FFA and FCCLA which taught students how to be leaders and to prepare them for the real world after high school. This year we have no teachers so we're doing classes online in our high school with only two teachers to watch over us. Even though this school is small and seems like it would be shut down soon, us students try our hardest to keep it running by doing a lot of fundraisers that sometimes seem pointless because we only make an extremely small profit off of what we do. We still try our hardest though no matter what we work hard to keep what we love alive and that is why I am writing this essay in hopes that you will give us this money for our school to strive.
