As a parent of a child in kindergarten I can say that his teacher and the administration should be reviewed. In May 2022 with three weeks left of school I was told my child will be retained for the next school year. I was never invited to a conversation of my child’s progress prior to this notice. There were no parent/teacher conferences through out the year. When I discussed these concerns with the principal I was told parents are not required to be invited to these discussions. I was told my child may have a learning disability but not provided testing. The following year we left the district to attend Lake County schools. On my child’s 2nd week repeating kindergarten due to his status of retention from Wildwood Elementary I was told my child should not have been retained and would be immediately moved to the first grade.

Mi experiencia en esta escuela es un poco mala en que sentido en que el personar de la dirección no tratan bien a las personas que lo hablamos su mismo idioma por ejemplo hoy mismo estoy llamando porque necesitó plantear una inquietud respecto al bus de mi hijo y la persona que me atendio primero me dice que me regresa la llamada y me quedo esperando luego cómo a las 3:30 pm vuelvo a llamar y me contesto en mala forma y me cuelga tambien..creo y espero que el hecho de que una persona no hable su idioma no quiere decir que tengan que tratarnos con racismo ni con indiferencias ..
