This school had mold in the food when my kids were eating !!!!

Pomona High School’s administration is failing students and families on every level. Leadership is disorganized, unresponsive, and far more focused on protecting appearances than on supporting student success or well-being. This is an unfit and unsafe environment for middle and high school students.Parents are routinely excluded from important decisions, and communication is almost nonexistent unless you relentlessly push for it. When concerns are raised, they are met with deflection, hostility, or outright silence. The culture is defensive, secretive, and built on poor judgment. Mistakes aren’t acknowledged or corrected - they’re buried. Arrogance and self-preservation drive leadership, not student needs.Academically, the situation is completely unacceptable. Staff turnover is constant, with teachers leaving mid-year or not returning at all. Classrooms are frequently run by long-term substitutes with no subject expertise, and students are quite literally not learning. There’s no consistency, no structure, and no investment in academic excellence. This is not a school - it’s a holding pen. Students deserve better than this.Even programs that should be bright spots - like athletics, arts, or advanced academics - suffer under this lack of leadership. A few educators are doing their best to hold things together, but they’re stretched thin and burning out fast.Students who need support or advanced opportunities are overlooked unless families are able to advocate constantly. It’s draining and inequitable, especially in a school that claims to prioritize inclusion and achievement.If you’re a parent, be warned. The handful of competent staff who remain are not enough to counteract the damage being done by leadership. Pomona is not a place where students can thrive, be safe, or be cared for.Our family was ultimately forced to move our children elsewhere, even though Pomona is our feeder school. We hope this review helps other families avoid the dysfunction, neglect, and disappointment we experienced.

Not a fan at all my daughter was beat up and students recorded this no one did anything to make sure she felt safe the kids are bullies and into drugs and fighting. Do not recommend
