Newington Forest is a large neigborhood homeowner association with 1808 homes, about 2/3 are townhomes and about 1/3 are single family homes. The neigborhood has a community center, a pool, tot lots, tennis courts, sports fields, and hiking trails. We are close to wonderful Fairfax County schools, great shopping, public transportation (Franconia-Springfield Metro station, Virginia Railway Express Lorton train station, and Fairfax Connector buses), and the Pentagon and Fort Belvoir. Wonderful family life, great neighbors and neighborhood amenities, and short and easy commutes.
