6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has two courses the normal course and Magnet program. The normal course is not at all good (if your child is capable). I am comparing this with the other state from where we moved in. The environment for the normal course is not good at all. Kids fight, use all sorts of profanity including racist comments. On racism related problem though, I have experienced that if the incident is brought to notice, school takes immediate action but as such there is no proactive measure to stop such behavior's. However, I have heard from my acquaintances (quite a few of them including colleagues and friends) that the magnet course is good and caters to children and parents looking to for more academic challenge. The school management is very defensive about any incident and will try to point back to the complainant instead of working with the parents it is always us vs you type of attitude.Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - West Salisbury Elementary School

"I Everyone is very friendly and loves animals. If one of our animals gets loose, we immediately go online, and everyone gets together and tries to find them. A lot of animals have been returned to their owners because of that kindness of the people that live in Huntington Park. "

"I do not go to any community events. I'm not into the bar scene, movie theater is basic at best, and I'm not a university student. Part of Salisbury is college students, part is somewhat decent, and then part is just trashy crack head central! "
