NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe techers, staff, and principal go above and beyond the call of duty each day. The effort that it put forth to inspire and motivate learning for each student is amazing. I am so impressed with the effort and activities that are planned for students and family. I have never had any issue receiving a courteous and timely response from anyone on the staff.Parent Review15y ago13 Reviews - Rosemore Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've seen many people who stigmatize this school as a bad school solely due to the area and students' upbringings, though this is surely one of the most caring schools I've been to. Many of the students seem to be careless about the school or staff, and even when they are, teachers and staff still care about these students in every way possible. They largely enforce social-emotional-learning skills and go the extra mile just to help a single person. Due to the smaller amount of students, it feels as though you can have an actual dynamic with the staff and the environment. They have a great gifted/honors program with great teachers that teach everything a student needs in order to excel in their future. They provide great cognitive help for students who need it, and have an incredible SE program. The school also has a very diverse population, and teachers are very encouraging and embracing of the many cultures, ethnicities, and diversity in the community, unlike a certain school I've been to. (Cough, cough, Liberty Christian Academy-- cough.) There does seem to be a major issue, though, that I didn't see in some other schools, which earned it the four stars: fighting and teasing. I don't believe that it's as bad as some schools I've been to, but I do see many fights between students, and also bias and teasing between students. I truly don't think that I've ever seen or even heard of anyone just getting beat or hurt for the purpose of teasing, since fighting is usually between two students who typically have some sort of pre-established feud. The teasing, however, I do see often, and sometimes for no apparent reason. It's not necessarily a big issue, and you don't see it in many places unless you pay attention. Aside from the bad side, there is also great opportunities like sports, clubs, and many other things. I think that, if you are in the area and in need of a school, Rosemore is a great option for your student. Not only will they be exposed to diversity in the world, but also many opportunities and great teachers.Student Review3y ago5 Reviews - Whitehall Yearling High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't even know where to begin. The children are treated like prisoners, not people. They aren't allowed to go to the bathroom (like they literally have the bathrooms locked so the students cannot use them), not allowed to have their phones at all, the girls (and JUST the girls) are policed heavily by admin. The boys are allowed to walk around sagging but if the girls even have their arms out they are s!ut shamed by faculty or sent home. The school is constantly going on lock down with no communication to parents and since the kids can't have their phones off something happens there's no way you'll know until after the fact. They don't respect dietary or religious restrictions. They do not support the arts programs or girls sports but will funnel all of their money into boys sports teams even though they perform poorly. If it weren't for the fact that my child is a senior and didn't want to leave her friends I'd pull her out. My second child will never attend this school. Do not send your kids here, they do not care about these children.Parent Review8mo ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 821 E Exeter Rd.

"I have lived in this neighborhood 5 years and I feel that the neighbors look after each other. I raise my daughter as a single mom and feel like Whitehall is just as safe as the more expensive neighborhoods in Columbus Ohio"

"I’ve lived here for 7 years and came here to raise my two children. Whitehall puts all of its money back into its community with brand new parks, schools and a YMCA that’s opening soon as well as Norton Crossing that’ll be completes in the near future. "

"People walk their dogs all the time. It’s a subdivision with minimal traffic, speed limit of 25 mph. Community accepts all breeds. Many yards are fenced, and anyone who walks can feel safe that dogs are not going to approach."

"other dog owners not picking up the waste and letting pets urinate in front yards killing grass..also Whitehall has a leash law..many elderly and children are easily frightened by "rambunctious" large pups and hyper "ankle biters""
