7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is autistic and refused going here. Had to switch him to special needs ABA therapy elsewhere. Now he is accepted to a new autistic school he loves. Still registered at licking heights. They won't even help him with transportation to his new school!! They do not support special needs children at all!! If you have special needs kid look elsewhere.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Licking Heights Central

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad to pull my daughter after months of bullying and the school did nothing. I hear the same from many parents. Under staffed, low budget, no room for lunch- some kids eat LUNCH at 10 am while others at 2pm just to have enough room to rotate them - we pulled our daughter to attend an online school and her grades JUMPED and her self esteem is back!Parent Review6y ago4 Reviews - Summit Station Intermediate

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI did not like this school for my son. Constant bullying and some teachers were a bit of a miss. My son has always done well in school, but at North he struggled mainly in Math. At his progress meetings his math teacher would say he is capable of more. He was pulling D's in Math and with a threat from me a B in the third 9 weeks. By the end of the year he went into the counselor's office and said that he was considering suicide and knew how he was going to do it. It freaked her out as well as it did me. I was VERY scared for him to go to Central for Middle School for the 17-18 school year, but you know what? He made honor roll the first 9 weeks and has a MUCH more positive attitude and has a 99.8% in Math half way through the second 9 weeks. He really likes his Math teacher at Central, and when I ask him what happened at North he said it was the teacher. Seeing his current grades and participation...I believe him. The assistant principal was OK. One time my son was talking to a fellow classmate and said that the google accounts the school set up had a weak password system. The kid didn't believe him so my son proved it by breaking into the other kids email and showing him. The kid tells on my son and he looses computer privileges for the whole year. LAME! Was my son wrong...sure he was. Was the punishment a bit much...OH YES. My son was only 10 at the time. He meant no malice, he just wanted to show the kid.Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - Licking Heights North Elementary School

"The neighborhood is, clean, quiet, and safe, but there is nothing unique about it. There’s little to the neighborhood save for rows upon rows of identical houses. "

"There are many families here and I think with the expected high growth due to new companies coming to Columbus should lead to civil engineers replanning our green spaces. Overall it’s a good community. "

"There are lots of dog families in the neighborhood. Dogs are not freely running loose. Many neighbors walk their dogs responsibly picking up poop to keep neighbors clean. Neighbors keep their dogs in yards without barking."

"I’m moving. This area is terrible to live in. TERRIBLE. Porch pirates are rampant. Car thefts are daily. Neighbors are pack rats and some are rude. Unfriendly people and don’t even get me started about traffic and the rudeness and disrespect of fellow drivers on the road. Don’t move here. Seriously. "
