Excellent staff all around. The ladies in the office are warm, caring, and inviting. Matt Morgan is extremely attentive and helpful as needed. I thoroughly enjoy the times I get to speak with him. Everyone there ensures the students’ overall wellbeing and education. Wonderful middle school. My son is in their Life Skills program and they go above and beyond to include him as much as they can with the entirety of the school activities and events. The women who are with him daily are truly angels with hearts of gold. Thank you Sandstone staff for sticking out as a gem of a school!!

The school itself is perfectly fine in my opinion. Our school lunch has decent variety and isn't that bad, we even get specials that can sometime be questionable, but not bad, the lunch ladies try their best and we all love them for it. HHS seems very heavily weighted towards sports, as that's what most of the budget goes towards here. Specifically male sports, which are pretty nice and pretty entertaining to watch if we get good athletes. One issue I see a lot here however, is the lack of funding for much of the other activities, a major example is the marching band, we certainly get some decent funding for stuff like trips and instruments, as well as uniforms, however the school seems to cheep out on a lot of needed things, the band members themselves might have to provide funding for our needs, such as gas money. And even when we are promised to be able to do special things like visit a mall on our way, the bus drivers are often busy and we get delayed, often by around an hour, to the point where they cut out the activity that we all were looking forward to, and it ruins our morale. The classes are fine, although some classes are not forgiving in the slightest. The teachers are amazing however, shout out to Mr. Bake and Mr. Chavez for being the nicest guys I know.
