We tried this school. It was a nightmare. Older grades walk out during class session and run a muck. PE teacher has no creativity and makes the kids just run (I saw her get confrontational with kids over boys waiting with a friend for pickup). Front desk lady gets hostile because she can't do her job (I called the office needing my boys to walk home and no communication was sent out by her and many other incidents). There is money given to every school by the district for school supplies, not a single class got supplies. Who knows where that money went. I had a special needs child and no help was provided it came to the point where they wouldn't watch him and hes just walk around campus (he's always had a good teachers in other schools that where able to meet his needs.) Teacher also shared her personal views that God wasn't real to my small child ( personal opinion don't belong in class. She could've asked him to keep it for home.) The whole school is a mess and it has a lot of kids on the edge of their seats because of all the lack of creativity, communication, and discipline from staff. They disciplined them in all the wrong ways. The only time the kids where happy to come to school was when The marthon ppl where there. PS they would help the high spectrum needs but neglected the ones low. Needless to say you can see the stress in the parents and I hope that new staff help change this school for the better. I got my kids out and ran.

School Staff is very engaged on a daily basis for managing the kids with their social emotional problems with peer pressure and bullying. They have a solid program in place with Zero tolerance for keeping these kids in a safe environment.

Mrs. Pico is open to listening to parents and made suggested changes which was fabulous! The school communicates with parents a lot so they know what’s happening at the school and with my children that attend. I really like Aries and Parent Square. Thank you for being a better school than Cabrillo.
